“Our 2016 BDX is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot made in the fashion of the great wines from the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region of France. With exclusively of fruit from the Mayacamas Mountain Range that separates Napa from Sonoma, the depth of this wine is immediately seen in the deep, dark color of the wine in the glass. At first smell, the wine exhibits earthy, truffle notes with dark blackberry fruit. On the palate, the wine shows a upfront notes for black cherry and raspberry and reveals its firm, dark tannins in the mid-palate. This full-bodied wine extends into a long 45+ second finish with hints of cedar and sweet oak. Enjoy this wine over the next 7 to 10+ years.”
